JCoBee operates the JCoBee platform at jcobee.com and the JCoBee Listing Capture Chrome extension. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Account Information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address. We do not receive or store your Google password.
Listing Data: When you use the Chrome extension to capture a business listing, we collect the text content of the listing page including business description, financial details, and listing metadata. We do not collect content from pages where you do not click the capture button.
Usage Data: We track which features you use within the platform to improve the service. We do not track your browsing activity outside of JCoBee.
Pipeline Data: Notes, status changes, and other information you add to deals in your Command Center are stored in your account.
We use your information to provide and improve the JCoBee platform, including running structural analysis on captured listings, generating deal memos, calculating market context, and maintaining your deal pipeline. We use aggregated, anonymized data across all users to generate market intelligence and vertical insights. Individual user data is never shared, sold, or made identifiable in any market reports or analytics.
activeTab: To read the content of the current page when you click the capture button. We only access the page you are actively viewing and only when you initiate a capture.
scripting: To inject the content extraction script into the active tab when you click capture.
The extension does not run in the background. It does not monitor your browsing. It does not collect data from any page unless you explicitly click the JCoBee icon.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS) with row-level security policies. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. We do not store payment information. Access to your account data is restricted to you and is not visible to other users.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. We use OpenAI's API to process listing content for analysis. Content sent to OpenAI is subject to OpenAI's data usage policies. We do not share your identity or account information with OpenAI.
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting info@jcobee.com. You may export your pipeline data using the PDF export feature. You may uninstall the Chrome extension at any time.
We use essential cookies for authentication only. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
