What a doctrine is
A doctrine is your acquisition thesis encoded as machine-checkable gates. Every deal is evaluated against it: each acquisition path is a sequence of gates (EBITDA band, coverage, price discipline, structure), and a deal clears the doctrine when it passes all gates in at least one path. One doctrine drives every deal in your workspace.
